Description This was the southern segment of ditch 200 and it had steep sides and a flattish base. The southern end was cut by ditch 192. Its sole fill 202 was sealed by layer 203 through which ditch 192 was cut.

Description The sole fill of segment 201 of ditch 200. This was a light to mid brown soil with very few inclusions. Sealed by layer of Phase 4 alluviation 203.

Description A mid to light brown clay with very few inclusions, this layer sealed the fills of ditch 200 (fill 202 of segment 201and fill 144 of segment 143) and ran to east and west. To the south it was cut by ditch 192 and ditch 48. Contemporary with 287, 69, 212 and 352.
Comment Phase 4 alluviation.

Description This was the western of the two segments of ditch 206 (the eastern segment was 139). Gently sloping sides and almost flat base. It was filled by 49.

Description Linear arrangement of large stones lying above stone surface 166. Measured 1.1 metres by 0.45 metres by c 0.25 metres high.
Comment Possibly part of a wall, built on stone surface or pathway 166.

Description Dark brown silty clay loam layer overlying eastern edge of layer 177 and cut by pit 178. Contained occaisional charcoal, rare slag, bone, pot. 65cm deep. More charcoal in lower 30cm leading east from slaggy charcoal deposit 177.
