Building Survey

The standing buildings at Turnastone Court Farm were surveyed by Archenfield Archaeology in 2004.  Extracts  from the report are  reproduced  here and    incorporates some   material    provided by Joan Grundy in her  report: The farm buildings  at Turnastone Court. The northern, timber-framed, barn at Turnastone Court Farm.  This grade II listed building dates from the mid to late 17th century.

 
 

The east gable of a grade II listed late 18th century four bay barn built of coursed rubble and lime mortar.
