Turnastone Court Northern Barn Bay A

A single bay to the west of the main barn that was added to west end of the northern barn. The frame is similar to the barn but without the braces. The west gable was originally fully framed but has been cut out. A brick wall has been inserted (approx. 1m) with raking shores to the tie beam. The sill has been cut on the south side to allow access via a small (half height) wooden door. This door would have allowed the bay to be used with the added threshing bay B. An inserted truss has been added to east of the bay.
